Our work is focused but not limited to;
- Providing information, advice, and guidance to help people make informed choices, through both face-to-face and telephone-based support
- Providing advocacy and support to help migrants navigate barriers to mainstream services and prevent exploitation
- Helping migrants access to justice- signpost/referrals to solicitors for free legal advice and legal advocacy, including leave to remain applications
- Assisting with ECF applications for legal aid, and wider advocacy for migrants encountering other forms of injustices by landlords, employers, rogue legal advisers, etc.
- Providing ESOL, Functional & Employment skills courses collaborating with the charity Proverb31Woman
- Providing emergency and hardship support for people experiencing destitution
- Providing integration support to new migrants by facilitating access to welfare, healthcare, education, housing, employment, and social integration
- Strengthening Lived Experience leadership- building capacity for leadership in migration sector
- Helping migrants to understand their rights and how to live with these rights in the UK
- Working to influence system change through casework, advocacy, convening, research, campaigning, and collaborative service delivery
- Building collaborative partnerships to improve service delivery and engagement for migrant communities
- Providing volunteering and student placement opportunities to offer local communities meaningful pathways to engage with our work and the broader migration conversation
